work in progress....

I also tried out another workshop called 'sandblasting'. This process was really fun to do, you basically draw your design and use special tape on a piece of glass, metal or ceramic.... You then put your design in the sandblasting machine-blast it and then peel the tape off....you are then left with your design.

work in progress....

I really enjoy sewing and especially using felt, beads and buttons in my work. I've decided to make a series of bird sewings showing the endangered birds in the UK. I feel the quirky drawings will lure people to look at them therefore making the public more aware of the decrease and sometimes extinction of some of our nations beloved birds.

work in progress..

After visiting the Natural History Museum i became very interested in bird 'parts', such as the bones, feather, wings ect. I decided to get a roll of wallpaper and just start drawing different sections using a variety of materials such as pen, paint, charcoal, pencil and glue. This is an ongoing piece that I'm going to carry on showing the different stages of, holly xxx
